Dan...

...was raised in Remus, MI and Chris grew up in Falmouth, MI. They met during college at Ferris State University and were married on August 20, 1988. They lived in Middleville, MI from 1991 until June of 2002 with daughters, Brittney (born June 2, 1992) and Melanie (born April 13, 1994). Dan worked for BF Goodrich Avionics and Chris was part owner of a medical transcription business. When they were invited to Brightside Community Church in January of 1998, they realized that they needed Jesus Christ to be at the center of their lives. Dan accepted Jesus as his personal Savior and Chris rededicated her life to Him. They devoured as many in-depth Bible studies they could find and poured themselves into learning God’s Word and knowing Him better. Their first mission trip as a family was to Poland in 2001, which was a life-changing event. After a time of deep prayer and intense discussions, they felt led to attend missionary training, sell their house, and move to Poland. Dan and Chris work diligently to plant the church in Bourne by loving the Polish people, sharing God’s Word, and encouraging them to seek forgiveness of their sins by trusting solely in Jesus Christ.
